How much does Bento MDM cost per device?
Bento MDM starts at €1 per device per month on the Standard plan, billed annually. The Professional plan is €2 per device per month. The Enterprise plan is custom-priced for on-premise deployment and dedicated support. All core MDM features are included at every tier with no feature gating.
What is the difference between the Standard, Professional, and Enterprise plans?
Standard (€1/device) includes Cloud MDM, basic support, and 1 admin user. Professional (€2/device) adds capacity for 3 admin users. Enterprise (custom pricing) includes both Cloud and on-premise MDM, dedicated support, enterprise SLA, and unlimited admins. On-premise deployment is exclusive to Enterprise.
How does Bento MDM pricing compare to Intune, Jamf, and other vendors?
Industry MDM pricing typically ranges from €3 to €9 per device per month. Intune is bundled with Microsoft 365 licensing. Jamf runs €4 to €6 per Apple device. Hexnode, Scalefusion, and MaaS360 sit between €2 and €5 with feature gating. Bento MDM at €1 per device is among the most competitive, with no enterprise-tier gating.
Does Bento MDM offer a free trial?
Yes. The free trial includes the full Standard plan feature set, lets you enroll real devices, and configure actual policies before committing to an annual contract. No credit card is required. Request it from the pricing page.
Is there a free version of Bento MDM?
No. Bento MDM is a paid platform starting at €1 per device per month. A free trial is available for evaluation. Free MDM tiers from other vendors typically exclude content filtering, kiosk mode, and compliance reporting, which most organizations require.
What is the minimum number of devices required?
There is no minimum. Pricing scales linearly with fleet size on the Standard and Professional plans. Small fleets under 10 devices, mid-market deployments of 100 to 500 devices, and enterprise rollouts above 1,000 devices all operate on the same per-device structure.
What does the per-device price include?
Every feature on the comparison table is included at the base price: device enrollment, security policies, content filtering, kiosk mode, application management, location tracking, factory reset protection, remote view, compliance reporting, and API access. No feature gating forces upgrades for standard functionality.
Is the price billed per device or per user?
Per device. Each enrolled device, including phones, tablets, laptops, kiosks, and digital signage players, counts as one device. Per-device pricing is more predictable than per-user models and typically costs less for fleets with shared devices, kiosks, or dedicated-purpose hardware.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. The published per-device price is the total cost. Onboarding, support, API access, SSO integration, and compliance reporting are all included. The only potential additional cost is professional services beyond the standard migration support that comes with the subscription.
Can I deploy Bento MDM on-premise?
Yes, on-premise deployment is available on the Enterprise plan. It is selected by organizations with data sovereignty requirements, regulatory constraints (ITAR, CJIS, government), or air-gapped networks. Cloud MDM is included on every plan. Hybrid cloud-plus-on-premise architectures are configured during Enterprise onboarding.
Is the contract annual or monthly?
Annual. Both Standard and Professional plans are billed yearly. Enterprise contracts are custom-structured. The annual commitment is what enables the €1 per device pricing, which sits well below industry average for cloud MDM.
What happens to my data and devices if I cancel?
At contract end, you can export your device inventory, policy configurations, compliance reports, and audit logs from the console. Enrolled devices retain their last applied configuration until unenrolled or factory reset. Data retention and termination procedures are documented in the customer agreement.
